Un fir cu tradiţie printre pescarii de stationar din România, Carp Expert Carbon a devenit foarte cunoscut datorită calităţilor rămase neschimbate de-a lungul anilor. Fiind alegerea perfectă în cazul apelor cu adâncime mare, "Carbonul", cum este denumit de către majoritatea pasionaţilor, impresionează printr-o rezistenţă remarcabilă, atât la uzură cât şi la nod. Lipsa memoriei, supleţea şi rezistenţa sporită la abraziune sunt motivele pentru care, firul Carp Expert Carbon este înlocuit foarte rar şi de cele mai multe ori cu acelaşi fir. Culoarea neagră este specifică monofilamentelor cu densitate mare, capabile să ajungă rapid în apropierea substratului şi să ofere un camuflaj perfect.
